A PREMIER AND NEW APPROACH TO KIDS FITNESS AND HEALTH
Fit Kids Tampa is a physical activity program that will instill not only a solid foundation for all sports but also a lifetime of exercise. Students will progress from basic to advanced development by learning and employing elements of boot camp training, track and field and yoga. Participants will come away with greater physical awareness, build strength and develop an understanding of the importance of focus and consistency.
“Children and youth should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate-to vigorous-intensity physical activity daily. Physical activity has also been
associated with psychological benefits in young people by improving their control over symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Similarly, participation in physical activity can assist in the social development of young people by providing opportunities for self-expression,
building self-confidence, social interaction and integration. It has been suggested that physically active young people more readily adopt other
healthy behaviors (e.g. avoidance of tobacco, alcohol and drug use) and demonstrate higher academic performance at school.”
